Judy Greer (born July 20, 1975) is an American actress. Greer was born Judith Laura Evans in Livonia, Michigan. Before getting into acting, she trained for almost ten years in Russian ballet. Greer attended Winston Churchill High School in Livonia, MI and is an alumna of the Creative and Performing Arts Program. She graduated in 1997 from the theatre program at DePaul University. Greer is perhaps best known for her recurring role on the FOX television series, Arrested Development, playing George Bluth, Sr.'s (Jeffrey Tambor) former secretary Kitty Sanchez. Greer is set to star in the 2008 ABC sitcom, Miss/Guided. She will play Becky Freely, a former high school geek, who returns to her alma mater as an attractive and confident guidance counselor. The series is scheduled to debut in early 2008. Greer also co-stars in the film, 27 Dresses, alongside Katherine Heigl and James Marsden. The film is set to debut January 18, 2008.

U2's Bono presses for French aid
Rock star Bono pressed French leader Nicolas Sarkozy to increase aid to developing nations, the aid advocacy group DATA said. The organization, co-founded by Bono, front man of the U2 rock group, has urged France to raise development assistance to 0.7 percent of gross national income by 2012 as agreed earlier. In 2006, French aid stood at 0.31 percent of gross national income, DATA said.
